Description: Abstract—The paper presents the possibility to produce a new category of magnetizable nano-composite materials, using magnetic fluids and resins. The research was focused on the compatibility that can exist between the various categories of nanomagnetic fluids and resins. We prepared samples with different mixtures of resins, carrier liquids (of magnetic fluids), and concentration of magnetic particles. The polymerization process took place with and without magnetic field. We investigated the magnetic properties of samples with the measurement of magnetic field parallel and perpendicular to the polymerization magnetic field, the microstructure of the samples (optical and/or electronic microscopy), and, the mechanical properties corresponding to different preparation methods three points bending test, elastic properties, gel time determination, etc.).
