Abstract:
There is currently a growing research interest in nanocomposite systems, which to a large extent can be explained the ability to introduce significant changes in material properties wich low contents of nanosized additives. This Work present some ongoing research (Crainic et al., 2004) on the subject of nanocomposite systems where the host material is a polymer matrix of a nature usually found in the composite industry, and the nanosized phase is introduced by a high volatile Magnetic Nanofluid (MNF). Ultimately, the work involves integrating the magnetic nanoparticles of the MNF into traditional fiber reinforced composite materials
