Title: Particularities concerning the utilization of the magnetic nanofluids with different concentration of nanoparticles to obtain the nanocomposite materials

Description: The properties of nanocomposite materials depend not only on the properties of their individual parents, but also on their morphology and interfacial characteristics. This rapidly expanding field is generating many exciting new materials having novel properties. The motivation for this research was the possibility of obtaining new nanostructured materials, mixing the magnetic nanofluids with resins, using the resin transfer molding (RTM) process and to take advantage of magnetic nanoparticles orientation during processing, by action of an external magnetic field. Therefore, the anisotropy of the material could be tailored to adjust to a specific application of the part being processed. The use of magnetic nanofluids as one of the basic component of the manufacturing process has several reasons. In magnetic nanofluids, the magnetic nanoparticles have the required dimensional distribution and are very well dispersed in the resin compatible carrier liquid.
