The paper focuses on numerical evaluation of
energetic and hydrodynamic behavior downstream
to the runner of the swirling apparatus for lower
runner speeds. The energetic behavior of the
runner consists in the analysis of the torque and
mechanical power, while from the hydrodynamic
behavior is analyzed the velocity field
configuration downstream to it.
